
“Koke-dere” /moss garden in Kyoto is the oldest important garden of the Muromachi Period. The moss garden restored in 1868 was designed as a meditation garden and is organized around the shape of the Japanese character for the “heart” or “spirit”
This is one of the images being exhibited at Eastep Photography open studio Saturday, March 31, 2018, 11 am to 4pm.
A dozen prints expressing the feeling of serenity will be exhibited at my gallery this Saturday. All images explore studies of water to express the feeling of serenity.
