when we had the bakery I had a golf partner/friend/customer who was raised in NC and had never tried rhubarb, didn’t want anything to do with it. Just about had to wrestle him to get him to try a piece. Finally convinced him that he liked all of the other pies we made – why would this one be any different and no we didn’t use any of the poison leaves in it. He tried it and we had a convert. Strawberry rhubarb is a great pie.

Have you ever tried sweet potato pecan pie. Look up Paul Prudohmnes recipe online. It is one of the great pies. One of the richest you’ll ever eat.
