    • Denise, Here’s the recipe for making Arabic Coffee.
      Serves 8…..(each serving is 2 oz. or 60 ml, or 4 Tbs.or 1/4 cup)

Use green coffee beans, roast to a tan/light brown color, not black. Grind to a fine ground.
Cardamom pods, grind coarse to medium

      3 cups water…..bring to boil

add 2 Tablespoons of the coffee grinds….reduce heat to low (simmer) boil, for 5 minutes

In a second pot Add 3 Tablespoons ground Cardamom plus 1/4 teaspoon of Saffron…. now add the coffee.

Bring back to boil, steep for a minute or so, pour through a strainer (cheesecloth, fine metal strainer, or as is done in Arabia the fibers from the date palm)

      Serve with dates.
Good luck, let me know how it works out for you. Wayne
